External examinations
Woodstock is an approved testing center for the following exams:
PSAT Preliminary Scholastic Assessment Test: given to all Grade 10 students in October, and Grade 11 students who are not registered for a Fall SAT.
SAT I Reasoning Test: required by many U.S. colleges as part of the admissions procedure.
SAT II Subject Tests: required by some US colleges as part of the admissions procedure
ACT American College Test: required by many US colleges as part of the admissions procedure
IGCSE: Woodstock's curriculum maintains a strong link between the content of appropriate Grade 9 and 10 courses and published syllabi for the International GCSE. The IGCSE exams are voluntary and may be taken at the end of Grade 10
Advanced Placement (AP): Woodstock offers university-level audited AP courses in many subjects which prepare students for voluntary AP exams. Many North American universities grant college credit and/or waive university course requirements for AP exam scores of 4 or higher. APs are recognized by 55 countries and increasingly being used as part of the admissions process.
