Class of '81 reunion
25 years after leaving the hillside clutching their diplomas and fearing the future, a very relaxed and confident group of Woodstock alumni returned to Mussoorie to celebrate a milestone reunion. The class of 81 mostly converged around the dwelling of Sanjay Narang '81 who hosted many of the reunion events at his new home at Bothwell Bank.
Some of our reunion highlights included a career session and casual chat with Woodstock High School students in the media centre, a raging bonfire and barbeque on the Hanifl campground, a fierce battle on the basketball court against a ragtag faculty team and the senior boys basketball team, and a closing bash at Bothwell Bank with many Woodstock staff and faculty present.
Although there were many opportunities for classmates to interact, chat, and take relaxing hikes and tours of the Woodstock campus, the class of 81 did a fantastic job of engaging students and Woodstock staff and faculty in their social events. Everyone in attendance went home with a renewed sense of what it means to be part of the Woodstock legacy, as well as great gratitude to classmate Sanjay Narang for his overwhelming hospitality.
