Mr. A.S. Chugh of President Travel Passes Away

Mr. Chugh aged 82, passed away on Friday, the 25th of July 2008 in the car on the way from his home to the Dehra Dun office. The cremation took place on the 26th after the arrival of the rest of the Chugh family. Mr. Chugh's son and one daughter were in Dehra Dun when he passed away.

Several Woodstock staff, upon hearing the news, went to Dehra Dun to spend time with the family. Woodstock was represented at the cremation as well as the Memorial Service held at the Gurudwara in Dehra Dun for Mr. Chugh on Tuesday, the 29th of July.

Mr. A.S. Chugh, founder, President Travel Service, Dehra Dun and Delhi has had a very long association with Woodstock School. His office has been handling travel for Woodstock students and staff over the last 50 years.

Mr. A.S. Chugh is survived by his wife, three daughters and one son. The office is now being run by Mr. Chugh's daughter, Mrs. Harnit Mangat. His son, Rakesh, runs President Hotel.
