Our mathematics course takes students on a journey with activity based approaches to develop a passion and love for maths. In this course. students will learn about various math skills, the art of problem solving and will apply concepts and skills in real life situations. The course will enhance students’ problem solving, analytical, critical thinking and research skills, which will help them tremendously in day to day decision making and for succeeding in any advance level math courses.

This course is for anyone who desires to learn about math concepts related to Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and Calculus and the art of problem solving; wants to learn about the process of developing concepts; and is interested in developing strengths on understanding math patterns, and work of mathematicians who have contributed in the respective math fields.
This course relies heavily on the art of problem solving, and experiential, investigation & inquiry based learning to explore mathematical development. The tasks in the course require participants to investigate, apply their learning, and collaborate. Playfully working through challenging math situations offers the chance to acquire resilience, develop flexibility, take challenges, removing math fear and learn about concepts integration.

Mr Tarun Seth has over 20 years of mathematics teaching experience across two of India’s best known residential schools – Scindia School and Woodstock. Mr Seth has also taught in the USA as a Fulbright Scholar. He currently serves as the Head of Department of Mathematics at Woodstock, where he enjoys interacting with students both inside and outside the classroom. Mr Seth’ interest in mathematics education includes educational leadership, curriculum development, and deep learning.
