Summer at Woodstock – Scholarships

Scholarship Opportunities for Exceptional Students

Our all-new Summer at Woodstock scholarships programme offers up to five exceptional students an opportunity to join the 2021 on campus session, free of charge. We are looking for students who can demonstrate how they will make the summer camp an even more amazing experience for everyone!

Show us why you should join us at Summer at Woodstock

To apply for a scholarship at Summer at Woodstock, submit a short video demonstrating why you think you would make a great addition to our on campus session.

At Woodstock School, we have a holistic approach to education which seeks to develop visionary, articulate and ethical individuals equipped to achieve their full potential in leadership and in life. If this sounds like you, show us how you can make a meaning contribution to Summer at Woodstock life.

We want to hear from you, not from your parents or teachers. Videos should be between one and three minutes long. What you include is up to you. We want to know what you are really like and what motivates you – whether you’re poetic, political, artistic, athletic, funny or just plain fabulous. We don’t want to know your grades; we want to hear what you’re truly passionate about. If you’re a musician, don’t just play for us, tell us how it makes you feel. If you are behind a community project, we want to hear what inspired you to make a difference. Above all, the most important thing is to be yourself!

Remember that students at Summer at Woodstock are already a remarkable group, so you need to demonstrate how you are truly exceptional to stand out from the crowd. Successful applicants will be true global citizens who can demonstrate a genuine alignment with the values we seek to elicit in Woodstock School’s students. Don’t hold back!

The deadline to submit your video is 14 April 2021. Shortlisted candidates will be notified as soon as possible afterwards and will be invited to a virtual interview with the Summer at Woodstock team.

What’s included

Successful applicants will secure a place at Summer at Woodstock 2021’s On Campus Session. This includes the full fees for the On Campus session, which is equivalent to INR 135,000 + 18% GST. Scholarships include everything that’s normally included for fee paying students, including full-board, lodging, academic provision and afternoon activities.

Please note that:

  • Travel expenses, pocket money, visa expenses, medical expenses and other costs which are not usually included within the Summer at Woodstock fee are not included in the scholarship package.
  • Video applications submitted may be used by Woodstock School to promote Summer at Woodstock and/or the scholarship programme. This may include use on Woodstock School’s website, social media, email and other digital channels.
  • If you have already applied for Summer at Woodstock and are successful in your scholarship application, Summer at Woodstock will reimburse any fees already paid for the 2021 programme.
  • Scholarships are available for students aged between 10 and 18 years on 7 June 2021.

  • If Summer at Woodstock’s On Campus session is cancelled due to Covid-19 or other reasons, successful scholarship applicants will be able to participate in our distance learning sessions instead (both sessions if cancellation happens before April 12, 2021, and one session if after this date).
  • Scholarships must be availed of during the Summer at Woodstock 2021 programme and are not valid for future programmes.
  • No cash alternative is available.
