ANURADHA BAROOAH FARLEY (‘72) passed away on November 25, 2023. She is survived by husband Gavin, sons Robin & Kim, and a sister. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother.

Betsy Lehman (‘P) passed away on January 31, 2025. Her son KARL (‘82) preceded her in death. She was the wife of JIM LEHMAN (‘S) and survived by her children DEANNE (’79), JEFF (’86), PRIYA (’92), Stan (‘S), CATOLE (’83).

Doma (‘P) passed away on August 1, 2024. She is survived by her son TENZING NEMA (‘80), daughter-in-law Shanti, grandsons Tashi (‘P), Gautam, and Siddharth, their wives TANYA (‘S), Pushpanjali, and Maitreyi, and her great grandchildren TASHYA (2033), TARO (2035), and Malaila.

DONALD GENE BEANE (‘S) passed away on January 11, 2024. He was preceded in death by wife Marjorie and sister, Winifred Chambers. He is survived by his sons, David (Melanie), Ohio and John (Ann), a daughter, Linda (David Boose), grandsons: Michael (Victoria), Tyler (Mairead), Elliott and Eric, granddaughters: Beth, Amy (Rachad Rayess), Hannah (Robbie Hamlin) and Rachel; great grandsons: Luke, George and Iver; great granddaughters: Lilly, Ella, Sylvia, Lucy, Brooke and Maeve.

DORIS DATTA (‘S) passed away on February 11, 2025. She is survived by her children ROHINI (‘88), REENA (‘88), ASHISH (‘97), ATUL (‘90).

DEVIKA McGRAIL (‘74) passed away on May 30, 2024.

EVANGELINE BISHOP LINN (’42) passed away on February 17, 2024. She is survived by her daughters Barbara, Beverly, Laura, and Mary Jean.

Elouise Kellog Smith passed away on June 7, 2023. Her husband DAVID SMITH (‘52) preceded her in death. She is survived by her six children David Smith, Jr., Victoria Shaffer, Michael Smith, Steven Smith, Theresa Smith, and Julie LeMonte and 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

FRANCES BRUSH SCHILLINGER (‘44) passed away on May 6, 2024. Frances was
preceded in death by her husband Fred and brothers JOHN BRUSH (’37) and STANLEY BRUSH (’42).

FRED KOKEN (‘57) passed away on August 13, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife Karen Koken.

FREDRICK S DOWNS (‘49) passed away on May 19, 2024. Fred is survived by his wife Mary, his three children SUSAN (‘78), RICK (‘79), and MILTON (‘81), two grandchildren Arjun and Julia, and his sister JANE (‘52). He was preceded in death by his sisters Joyce and Carol.

Gandasari Abdullah “Riri” Win, wife of U KYAW WIN (‘51), passed away on January 19, 2024. She is survived by her husband.

GLADYS TAYLOR McGAREY (‘37) passed away on September 28, 2024.

Gwen Hawthorne (‘P) passed away. She was the wife of Stanley Hawthorne and is survived by her children KATHLEEN (’90), BARRY (’92) & SIAN (’88) and grandson ASHTON (‘25).

HARVELLA ‘BAUMAN’ STUTZMAN (‘49) passed away on January 11, 2024. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Stutzman and is survived by her children Sue L. Stutzman Gillis, Gary Stutzman, Judy Stutzman Kanagy, Terry Stutzman Mast, Nan Stutzman Eller, and Jim Stutzman.

IVY SHEILA PEPPER (‘S) passed away on February 12, 2024. She is survived by her daughter MILA (2000).

JANE DOWNS WALLBROWN (’52) passed away on October 29, 2024, mother of Sheldon Wallbrown.

John Turville, husband of RUTH ROBINSON TURVILLE ‘67 passed away on October 10, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife daughters, Kristine Turville Delano (Christopher), Cynthia Turville Kelley (Tim), and Rebecca Turville Warner; precious grandchildren, Julia Churchill (Justin); Genevieve, Miranda, and Zachariah Delano; Elisabeth and Gage Warner; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Gunner, and Anthony Churchill; sister, Nonie Turville; and brother, William Charles Turville, Capt. Ret., USN (Mary Ellen): nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rear Admiral William Charles Turville and Nonie Wilkinson Turville.

JUDI ROBINSON ROGERS (‘61) passed away on August 22, 2024. She was preceded in death by her son John Rogers Jr., son-in-law Mike O’Neal, parents Arthur Keene and Ocie Fuller, and siblings Vic Keene, Harold Keene, Tom Keene, and Jacqueline Davis. She is survived by her loving children Cindy O’Neal and Scott Rogers (wife, Terri), grandchildren Nicole O’Neal, Sarah Owens, Josh O’Neal, Brannan Vanover, Lindsey Welch, Ben Rogers, and Alex Rogers, and several nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

Lavoy Ledford, husband of JAMIE CLAYTON LEDFORD (‘69), passed away on March 2, 2024.

NORMA ‘ABBY’ SALZER STADTLANDER (‘48) passed away on March 15, 2024. Her husband John preceded her in death. She is survived by her son DAVID STADTLANDER (‘72).

PAUL COOLE (‘43) passed away on December 21, 2024. He is survived by his wife Patricia, brother Tom, daughter Cindy (Alan) Coffman, sons, Douglas (Carol Ramirez) Coole and Jon (Miranda) Coole, and niece Tammy Coole (daughter of deceased brother Andrew), grandchildren Christie, Amy, Molly, Mia, Brandon, and Maggie, and great-grandchildren Norah, Liam, Bethany, Corban, and Derek.

PREMLA SAGAR SHARMA (‘69) passed away on April 15, 2024. She is survived by her husband Vinod Sharma, daughter Mrinalini Sharma, and son Karan Sharma.

Peter Sotos, husband of PATRICIA “WHITCOMB” GREEN-SOTOS (‘72), passed away on May 19, 2024. He is survived by his wife Patricia, son Joshua (Tracy) Sotos, stepdaughter Alisha (Jay) Johnson, stepson Jeremiah Green, and beloved granddaughter Kira Sotos. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Margaret Sotos, daughter Jennifer, and stepdaughter Rachel.

RACHEL FINNEY (‘64) passed away on July 12, 2024. She is survived by her son Fred Wood and daughter KIRSTIN WOOD (‘94), grandchildren Celeste Oki Wood and Zachary, Saffron, and Julian Binder, her brother PAUL FINNEY (‘61), and sister JOY FINNEY (‘69).

RICHARD “DICK” WECHTER (‘S) passed away on October 18, 2023.

ROBERT “BOB” SERVICE (‘54) passed away on September 2, 2021. He is survived by his wife Karol, his daughter Jennifer and her husband Sandy, his son John and his wife Helena, his brother Philip and his wife Kiisa, five grandchildren Miguel, Alisha, Alex, Samantha, and Rayka, and grandniece Luisa.

Roy Copp, father of SUSAN COPP ANDERBERG ‘90 passed away in January 2025.

RUFUS GRANT SMITH (‘55) passed away on April 6, 2024. He is survived by his wife Renny Travers Smith, his children R. Justin Smith and C. Adair Smith and their spouses Pamela Phan and John Bender, and two grandchildren.

RUTH DECKERT KAMPARS (’60) passed away on December 23, 2023. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her stepmom, and her brother. She is survived by her husband Wayne, her children Greg (Pam) Deckert, Michelle (Rich) Harris, Scott (Jennifer) Deckert; 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two half-sisters.

SAROJ KAPADIA (‘S) passed away on August 6, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband RONALD KAPADIA (‘S) and daughter SHAHNAZ KAPADIA AL-HAJIEAT (‘79). She is survived by her children FALI KAPADIA (‘75), grandchildren Nigel S. Kapadia, Seth W. Kapadia, and Anand R. Kapadia, and great-grandchildren Kamryn, Dani, Dylan, and River.

SHIRISH B. PATEL (‘47) passed away on December 20, 2024. He is survived by his wife Rajani, children Gautam & Malu, Tuli & Vikram and grandchildren Aditi, Nadi r, Shyama, Kabir, Sameer.

SHREYA THAPA (‘05) passed away on October 15, 2024. She is survived by her father Dr. Tirtha Thapa and sister SRADDA (‘04).

In Loving Memory of SHREYA THAPA, Eminence Class of 2005 mourns the loss of our dear Shreya, who left us on October 15. Shreya’s warmth, brilliance, and kindness touched us all, and her memory will forever hold a special place in our hearts. She will be deeply missed, but her light will continue to inspire us. SUDHIR PRAKASH (‘67) passed away on December 18, 2024. He is survived by his wife Poonam, sons ANSHUMAN (‘91) and NIKHIL (‘94), siblings SHALINI (‘72) and TULIKA (‘76). He is preceded in death by his brother SUNDEEP (‘81).

TERRY CONNELL (‘58) passed away on February 4, 2024, followed by his wife CHARLENE CHITAMBAR CONNELL (‘51) who also passed away on August 21, 2024. TERRY was preceded in death by his sibling CAROL FRICKE (‘61).

THOMAS IAN BRADSHAW (‘48) passed away on June 2, 2024. Ian is survived by his children Catherine and Alan (Doragnes), grandchildren Melissa, Lucas, Sarah, Ryan, and Evan, great-grandchildren Olivia, Ellis, Parker, and Madelyn, and partner Mary Sue Hutchins. He was preceded in death by his wife June.

TONY PARKER (‘51) passed away on September 17, 2024.

VERLIN “BUD” COLEMAN (‘S) passed away on August 28, 2024.

VIRGINIA ROSE NOLAN (’42) died on May 18, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Joyce Reynolds Coupal, and brother Roger Page Reynolds. She is survived by her four loving children, seven grandchildren, great-grandson, daughter, and sons-in-law.

WILHELMINA ELIZABETH (Willi) BARTON (‘S) passed away on July 2, 2024. She is survived by her husband, JAMES (‘S), and sons NICHOLAS (‘83) and JEREMY (‘85).

WINFRED “Win” McGAVRAN GRIFFEN (’54) passed away on January 28, 2025. She is predeceased by MALCOLM (‘46) and HELEN (‘42). She is survived by PATRICIA (‘56).

YAMUNA RICHARD SACKMAN (P) passed away on May 11, 2024. She is survived by children ERIC (’73), MILLY (’75), NANCY (’76), and STEVE (’82). She was preceded in death by her husband and by her daughter Helen.

She is preceded in death by his wife Eileen, and brothers DOUG FORMAN (‘34) and KENNETH FORMAN (‘39), and sisters PEGGY FORMAN KEYS (‘32), ALICE FORMAN (‘36), and his dear twin CATHERINE FORMAN (‘41). Jacob Henry “Jake” Flisher, Jr. (P) passed away on September 22, 2023. His wife Arvilla Miller preceded him in death in 1998. He is survived by four daughters, MARY INA HOOLEY (‘73), JUDITH GINGER (‘74), SYLVIA BLASER (‘77), and JANETTE HUNT (‘81), seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and 14 step great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Reverend John and Reverend Beulah Landrey, his eldest brother Richard Landrey, his second eldest brother, John Mark Landrey, and his son Richard Landrey. He is survived by his wife Carol Landrey, daughter Dr. Angela J. Guta, son-in-law Dr. Mihretu P. Guta, and grandson, Petros Guta.
