01 Dec Homecoming Mela 2025 | Go Brown & Gold!
The Homecoming Mela took place this weekend, 29 November 2025 — and it was spectacular.
Students, staff, hillside residents, parents, and alumni all came together to celebrate a vibrant day of community. This year’s Mela was especially meaningful, as all funds raised supported the Scholars for Peace (SFP) Scholarship, which helps students from troubled and war-torn regions access transformative education at Woodstock.

The Mela featured over 75 stalls, showcasing an exciting mix of crafts, food, student projects, staff initiatives, and much more. Throughout the day, visitors enjoyed a full programme of performances — beginning with an opening address from Acting Principal Mark Windsor ’78, followed by Shadows sung by the Alumni Office Student Interns, and a wonderful series of dances, songs, and skits. A standout moment was a beautiful performance by the students of Sneha Doon Academy, run by alumnus Ronjoy Rao ’00.

Events like the Homecoming Mela — historically known as the May/June Sale — highlight the rich diversity and vibrancy of the Woodstock community. As we celebrate our heritage and honour our bonds with the wider hillside, we are reminded that our Woodstock family stretches far beyond campus, connecting us to a global community rooted in shared traditions and spirit.
